A Bonus Dash covers the pipes it skips, not the next one: three Tappy Bird rounds that still paid nothing

In 100HP's Tappy Bird, a single press can send the bird through three or four pipes at once. Speed lines streak across the screen, the multiplier counts up, and the Bonus Dash looks like the game handing you a break. In a ten-round play-money log on the official demo, six rounds had one. Three of those six still ended at zero.

What the rules panel promises

The wording is precise. The rules say a Bonus Dash "guarantees passing several steps". That guarantee covers the pipes inside the dash and nothing after it. When the dash ends, the next press of Dash is an ordinary press again, and an ordinary press can hit a pipe.

The reason sits in another line of the rules: "Before the game round begins, its final result is generated randomly." Each round has a limit, the highest multiplier it can reach, set before the bird takes off. A Bonus Dash can only carry the bird through pipes inside that limit. Open My Bets, tap a finished round and press Check result, and the Salt line in the Fairness Check window shows what the limit was.

Three rounds with a dash and no payout

In round 3, on Easy, a Bonus Dash took a stake of 10 to 1.49×. The bird went on to 2.08× and hit pipe 12, and the round's limit turned out to be 2.08×. Round 7 went the same way: a dash to 1.21×, on to 2.30×, then pipe 13.

Round 8 cost the most. On Hard, one Bonus Dash carried the bird from 1.39× to 5.00×, and Withdraw showed 100 on a stake of 20. One more press met the next pipe, priced at 8.19×, and Withdraw dropped to 0.00. That round's limit was 5.00×.

In each case the dash did exactly what the rules said. The loss came from the press after it.

Using a dash without chasing it

Decide your withdraw point before Play, and take the money if a dash carries you to it or past it. On Hard, pipe 2 pays 2.07×, and on the 96% RTP in the rules a round gets that far a bit under half the time. A dash that lands on 5.00× has already beaten that target by a distance, so that is the moment to press Withdraw. On Easy, pipe 5 at 1.29× is reached roughly three rounds in four.

The same section of the rules describes a bonus game you can buy, in which the bird flies in Bonus Dash mode and always stops one pipe before it would burn. The demo panel has no Buy Bonus button, so check the tile on your casino before you count on it, and open Game limits there for the rupee minimum, maximum and payout cap.

Both ladders, from Easy's 24 pipes to Hard's 14, and the full ten-round table are in a Tappy Bird review that shows each round's limit from the fairness check. India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act bans online money games, with rules in force since 1 May 2026, so check what is lawful where you live before you play for rupees.
